NICK Morris and Simon Gustafsson are confident Swindon can beat any team at Blunsdon in their current form.

Morris has enjoyed a successful spell riding at two recently, including his first Elite League paid maximum on Saturday against Leicester.

However it is not just the 20-year-old Aussie who is flying at the moment. It seems as if most of his teammates are coming to the boil at the right time, with the play-offs in sight.

Dakota North has been consistently getting paid double figures and number one Peter Kildemand is finding his groove again after a spell on the sidelines with concussion.

It is that form that has seen the Robins become nearly unbeatable at the Abbey Stadium, where they have not lost since their one-point defeat to Wolves on June 12.

Ahead of the home match with potential play-off rivals Coventry Bees tonight (7.30pm), Morris reiterated the confidence bouncing off the wall in the pits at Blunsdon.

“All the boys are going really good now. We’re going really well at home as well. We’ll do what we’ve been doing everywhere, get another win and we’ll be sweet (for the play-offs),” he said.

“I don’t think it matters what team comes to Swindon. We’re all dialled in there, so hopefully we’ll get another win.”

Teammate Gustafsson added: “We should win that one (against Coventry). Everyone is going good at the moment, especially at home.

“We don’t have to do anything special, just keep doing what we have been doing, try to relax and win races.”

Morris himself had a dip in form at the start of August but has since rebounded and is now peaking at the right time.

“Last month was really bad and I’ve just been trying to get everything back to normal,” he added.

“I’ve got my head good again and I’ve been riding a different engine the last month, and it’s really working good.

“It’s an old engine I haven’t been using. My other good one hasn’t been going good, so I jumped back on this one, so it’s been fine.”
