NEW co-promoter Colin Pratt will be busy working with team manager Alun Rossiter rebuilding the Swindon Robins team over the winter.

Pratt joined Rossiter at the three-day AGM in Kenilworth over the weekend and believes that the Robins will be able to deal with the new sanctions well.

With Rossiter, Pratt believes he has one of the best managers in the sport at dealing with the new rules.

The pair will have a higher points limit to work from as well with the threshold being raised from 32 to 34 and Rossiter has already hinted he has one new rider lined up for next season.

“I think the talking points are always the points limit and team building and I have always believed if a number is there it is the same for everyone and it is up to you to do the best with that and I think Rosco is on the ball pretty well with that,” said Pratt.

“He hasn’t been far wrong with what he has done with whatever limit he has had and we’ll have to do the same this year within the limits.

“The doubling up procedures and fast-track are all being rubber-stamped to start on that and I am looking forward to it all.

“We are not going to do it over night but we have the rest of the winter to judge what needs doing.”
