SWINDON Robins will hold a number of youth races in support of the Bob Kilby Memorial meeting next Thursday.

Riders from the British Youth series will race for the Malcolm Holloway Memorial Trophy, with the Robins also looking to give youngsters further track chances in 2015.

250cc youngsters Tom Brennan, Kyle Bickley, Luke Woodhull and Ben Woodhull will compete over four heats in support of the senior Bob Kilby event.

Robins co-promoter and team boss Alun Rossiter said: “On a night when we’re remembering Bob Kilby, a legend of our club, it’s appropriate that the name of Malcolm Holloway is also part of the meeting.

“Malcolm was always a big supporter of the youngsters, so I feel it’s a nice touch to bring them in for this meeting and for their races to be in his memory, and Bob and Malcolm were also close friends.

“The British Youth riders put on a great show when they appeared in our second-halves last year and were popular with the supporters, so we’re looking to make them a more regular feature in 2015.”

The Robins' press and practice day takes place on Tuesday, where the line-up for the Bob Kilby meeting should be finalised.
