DAKOTA North will step in for Swindon Robins' Elite League clash against Belle Vue Aces at the Abbey Stadium on Thursday night (7.30pm).
2014 team member North, who played a starring role in the win over Coventry in the last home meeting, will deputise for the unavailable Peter Kildemand, with Adrian Miedzinski not ready to return to full-time British racing.
Rossiter said: "This has been a major problem for us and we've spent the day talking to the British Speedway Promoters' Association.
"We have to revisit our declared 1-7 soon because both Peter and Adrian are currently unavailable but for this meeting we very much appreciate having Dak on board.
"It's a big night for both ourselves and Belle Vue and we're desperate to claim the three points. The play-off picture is taking shape."
