Robins call off Coventry meeting
SWINDON Robins have taken the early decision to call off this evening’s Elite League meeting with the Coventry Bees.
The Bees were due to travel to the Abbey Stadium tonight but with heavy rainfall forecast for the majority of the day, Swindon have pulled the plug on the fixture.
The Robins' official website said: "The decision has been taken early, taking into account the weather and in order to minimise inconvenience for all parties.
“We hope to have a restaging date for the meeting later today.”
Alun Rossiter’s side are due back in action when they travel to the Belle Vue Aces on Monday, August 17.
