JASON Doyle has set his sights on the Elite League play-offs after being named as Swindon Robins' 2016 skipper.
Doyle has been handed the leadership role by team boss Alun Rossiter as he rejoins the club for a second spell and the Australian said: "I'm honoured to lead the side and was thrilled to be asked.
"We have a good looking side with bags of potential to improve as the season progresses and hopefully we will be in and around the play-offs come the business end of the season.
"Having so many Australians in the team will make my job easy as we all bounce off each other anyway and we will spur each other on in the pits.
"I'm sure the track walks before each meeting will also be fun as we all know each other that well and the atmosphere will be great."
