WITH two of our four meetings called off already this season, it has been a frustrating start to the campaign but I know that will all change come the end of the month.

I am not only riding for the Robins in the Elite League this summer, but also competing in Poland, Denmark and Germany, and with that, comes its own challenges.

At the moment, it doesn’t have a great impact because it doesn’t all really get going until the end of April.

The European season starts towards the end of the month and finishes at the start of October, so sometimes, it does seem like the English season goes on for a lot longer.

We are trying to cram in a few more meetings but they only have one meeting a week and manage to get it done in a shorter period of time.

At the moment, I don’t really know how it is going to affect me but I am sure we will figure it out when the time comes.

Organising where I need to be and where bikes need to be is already planned and you don’t really think about it. It just falls into place.

I have got a setup in Poland which will takes care of my meetings there or whatever else pops up out there over the course of the season.

I have a van and the whole setup with mechanics, and it is up to them a bit to organise it and I just need to make sure I catch the right flight. That sort of just happens by itself as time goes by and you don’t really know you are doing it.

It pretty much falls on myself. There are obviously people who help you when it comes to picking you up or dropping you off at the airport and that sort of thing but at the end of the day, you need to get off your backside and do it.

It is not really that hard; it is just a bit of planning and if you are on top of things, it all seems to flow pretty nicely but if you’re not, then it becomes a bit of a headache.

We get paid to race and at the end of the day, I have come all the way from Australia to race a motorbike.

Sitting around in the UK doesn’t appeal to me that much and I would rather be away racing my motorbike and the busier I am, the better I will ride.
