LAST week’s win at Belle Vue was a great one for the team, especially as we were missing skipper Jason Doyle from the side.

It is a good feeling we have got in the camp at the moment and when you get that feeling you have got to hold onto it for as long as you can.

This evening we are just going to keep doing what we have been doing and see where that leaves us.

There are a few changes in the team with where people are riding as a result of Rohan Tungate getting a big score in Manchester.

Rohan will be going to number three, Nick Morris will move to number four and I will drop down to reserve.

It is not where I planned to be but it was a bit of a shaky start to the season and averages seem to hold on for a bit.

All the changes, you have just got to look at the programme and know when you are riding, that is about the extent of how much it affects us as riders.

You still go into every race wanting to do the same thing – finish in front of the other three guys.

It is good to have someone really strong at reserve and hopefully I can go there and do a job like Rohan did.

I’ll then be looking to move back up into the main body and Charles Wright could come back down and get his confidence back and get going again.

Charles was beating those top guys at reserve so it is just a bit of a mental thing he needs to overcome and he is definitely capable of beating the good guys.

I don’t really get involved in the rules because as a rider you just want to get on with the racing and do the best you can for the team.

It is not a big deal as a rider, it is mainly the management who need to work around it and put the best team in place.

It will all work out in the end and the team is really buzzing at the minute to win as many meetings as possible.

We just need the fans to get behind us now.

Obviously you do see a bit of what is said by them online and that but at the end of the day if they want to jump on a bike then go ahead.

I can’t really stress to them enough that we are doing our best for the club and we want them to be here very week because there is no better feeling than having a lot of people cheering you on.
