SWINDON Robins have announced a reduction in season ticket costs to reflect the loss of two home meetings against Coventry.

The new prices are set at £235 for adults, £180 for concessions and £40 for children, with fans who have already purchased able to claim a refund or exchange for meetings later in 2017.

Robins will set up a table for refunds in the middle bar between 6-7pm at the first three home meetings of the season. Ticket holders will be written to with full details in due course.

Alternatively, season ticket vouchers would be valid for additional home meetings should Swindon enjoy a successful campaign or can be used to bring along friend of family member.

Commercial manager Lee Kilby said: “The withdrawal of Coventry was a shock to us all and as you will be aware this reduces the guaranteed home league and cup meetings to 15.

“Of course, we hope to have a successful season that results in additional home meetings for which your season ticket vouchers will now be valid.

“Alternatively you may wish to use your vouchers to bring along a friend or family member, or even perhaps someone who has never experienced live speedway before.

“For those that have already contacted the club to ask for any refund to be used towards tyres and other costs, can we say a massive thank you. You can look forward to your generosity being properly recognised in a programme during the season.”

Press and practice takes place on Thursday, March 30 (5pm) with admission via donation to St John’s Ambulance.
