SWINDON Robins will be without Bradley Wilson-Dean for tonight’s meeting with Belle Vue after the New Zealander injured his hand in last night’s home defeat to King’s Lynn Stars.

The 22-year-old fell in the opening heat of yesterday’s 45-48 defeat at the Abbey Stadium and will now miss tonight’s SGB Premiership fixture.

Team manager Alun Rossiter, had said after the home loss that Wilson-Dean would be a doubt for this evening, but has since confirmed the Robins will be without him for their trip to Manchester.

“Bradley has hurt his hand so he is going to let me know in the morning if he is going to be there, but we’ll probably be rider replacement for him,” Rossiter said following the Robins’s defeat to King’s Lynn.

“He’s hurt his hand and it’s all swollen up.”

Last night also saw Dany Gappmaier make his home debut for the Robins, following the departure of Emil Grondal.

However, the Austrian will also be absent for tonight’s meeting due to a prior commitment with Berwick Bandits in the Championship.

Rossiter has called upon the services of in-form Workington reserve Matt Williamson, who rode for Belle Vue Colts last year.
