Robins' meeting with Somerset postponed
SWINDON Robins' meeting with Somerset Rebels this evening has been postponed due to the weather.
Having threatened to rain all day, a sudden downpour at around 3.30pm in Swindon left the Abbey Stadium track with large puddles and the decision was taken to not let the meeting go ahead.
Those in charge took the appropriate action to postpone the meeting at 4pm in a bid to minimise the inconvenience to fans of both Swindon and Somerset.
A new date for the meeting has yet to be confirmed.
