TOBIASZ Musielak says there is no chance of Swindon Robins throwing in the towel in their quest to be crowned SGB Premiership champions.

Swindon must overturn a 47-43 deficit away at Wolverhampton Wolves in tonight’s Grand Final second leg, having suffered a shock home defeat at the Abbey Stadium in Monday’s opener.

Musielak is well aware that the task awaiting Swindon at Monmore Green is a tough one, with Wolves having lost just once on home shale in 17 league and cup meetings in 2017.

However, the Robins have produced plenty of stunning performances throughout the season and Polish rider Musielak wants the team to keep the faith that one more is possible.

“We have got to believe. We know we must to go Wolverhampton and win by five points,” said Musielak.

“We are disappointed about Monday but we just have to keep fighting, we can’t give up now. We have to go to Wolverhampton and try to prove ourselves.

“We had a good run during the season but now we are in a tough position so we just have to do our best.

“We must do what we were doing before and keep our heads up. If we do that, we will be alright.”

Musielak was at a loss to explain why Swindon failed to perform en route to surrendering the advantage in Monday’s first leg and the 24-year-old knows they simply have to improve tonight.

“We were struggling on Monday but that’s speedway. Sometimes it is harder that it usually is and Monday was one of those nights,” said Musielak.

“You never know why you struggle, it’s a question we don’t have the answer to. We just need to be better next time.”
