SWINDON Robins have been forced to postpone their SGB Premiership opener against Leicester Lions.
With the prospect of more heavy rain tomorrow following showers across the region this morning, the Robins management made the quick decision to call the meeting off.
It means fans will have to wait another week for Alun Rossiter’s men to start their SGB Premiership title defence, though the Robins do start their Knockout Cup campaign against Rye House on Bank Holiday Monday.
The meeting against Leicester at home has been rescheduled to take place on Thursday, April 12.
Robins will now start their Premiership campaign with a trip to Wolverhampton on Monday, April 9.
