RUSSIAN star Emil Sayfutdinov has been named as a confirmed starter for the Bob Kilby Memorial, which takes place at Blunsdon on Thursday, March 18.

Sayfutdinov is tipped by many as a future world champion and joins a strong line-up including the likes of Jason Crump, Nicki Pedersen and Leigh Adams.

In a change to the previously announced field, Chris Harris and Greg Walasek will ride in place of Davey Watt and Ben Barker.

Swindon co-owner Gary Patchett said: "Naturally we’re excited about Emil’s confirmation in the Bob Kilby Memorial and I’m sure Swindon fans will be delighted to hear news of his involvement.

"The complete line-up for the event is very impressive and the meeting will be a fantastic way to launch the 2010 campaign at Blunsdon."

The meeting will be contested over a 23-heat format and the full 16-rider field is as follows: Emil Sayfutdinov, Jason Crump, Leigh Adams, Nicki Pedersen, Lee Richardson, Freddie Lindgren, Simon Stead, Seb Ulamek, Hans Andersen, Steve Johnston, Mads Korneliussen, Morten Risager, Thomas H.
