Robins fixtures announced

SWINDON Robins will begin their 2012 Elite League campaign with home and away meetings against Birmingham, at Blunsdon on Thursday April 5, and at Perry Barr the following night.

Alun Rossiter will go head to head with former employers Coventry Bees in a home televised meeting on Monday April 16, and will also face the Bees on August 30, the final scheduled regular season meeting of the season.

must be an incredibly slow news day, having to lead the sports section with a speedway story, lets see how long it is, before it is bumped off with a story of an stfc player or employee breaking a finger nail type story !

What other competitive sport has a fixture list whereby you only play some of the sides once and others twice home and away - it can only be Speedway! Last season one could understand but to repeat it this season - why??
