NEW Swindon skipper Hans Andersen wants to see the 'glory days' return for the Robins.
The Danish Grand Prix star, who has confirmed he will appear at the Ben Fund Bonanza meeting on March 11 at Birmingham, says he wants to play his part in the club's revival after two tough seasons.
He said: “I think Swindon are looking at a very good season. I hope to do my bit and they have put a very competitive team together.
“I remember earlier in my career in England they always had a very good team so I’d like to see the glory days back at the Abbey Stadium.”
Andersen joins fellow countrymen Bjarne Pedersen and Kenneth Bjerre in the Ben Fund event which raises vital cash for injured riders past and present.
The first action of the new season at the Abbey follows a week later on March 18 when the Robins host the Bob Kilby Memorial meeting, for which triple world champion Nicki Pedersen is a confirmed starter.
