FORMER Swindon Robins stars Lee Richardson and Sebastian Ulamek are the latest big names to sign up for the season opening Bob Kilby Memorial meeting.
Richardson, who will ride for Lakeside once again this season, and new Birmingham signing Ulamek will be alongside Danish duo Nicolai Klindt and Nicki Pedersen at the event on Sunday March 18 at Blunsdon.
Kilby, who died in 2009, was one of the greatest riders ever to wear the Robins race jacket, and will be remembered at the meeting which is set to attract more top class riders.
Robins co-promoter Gary Patchett said: “It’s great to have these two former Robins back for the opener and, of course, both of them were part of the team that took us to the Grand Final in 2007.
“We’re delighted that both riders have accepted our invitation to ride in the meeting and I fully expect both to be very competitive.
“The field we are putting together makes this a meeting of the highest quality and a great way to start our season.”
Tapes go up at 6pm for the meeting with gates open at 4.30pm. Admission is £20 adults, £15 concessions, children aged 11-15 £8 and Under 11s free.
VIP and sponsorship packages are available by calling 07003 921235 or by emailing enquiries@swindonrobins.co.uk.
