HEAT DETAILS

Heat 1 (re-run): Andersen, Doyle, Kylmakorpi, Dryml, 66.37 (5-1)

Doyle moved at the start. On the re-run the Robins duo cruise it. Very easy.

Heat 2 (re-run): Lahti, Lampart, Wright, Bager, 66.77 (8-4)

Wright and Bager moved there. This is catching. Lampart went from fourth to second by the end of lap one but could not quite overhaul Lahti.

Heat 3 : Stead, Gustafsson, Woodward, Kildemand (R), 66.92 (11-7)

Kildemand made a hash of bend one and was relegated to the back. Stead passed Woodward by the end of the first lap.

Heat 4 (re-run): Batchelor, Lampart, Lahti,  Bridger (FX), 67.31 (16-8)

Bridger got sucked into the air fence on bend three when second. He's excluded.

Heat 5 : Kylmakorpi, Dryml, Stead, Kildemand (R), 66.49 (17-13)

Both Robins got left at the gate and Kildemand retired on lap three.

Heat 6 : Andersen, Doyle, Lahti, Bager, 67.34 (22-14)

Andersen got the run into bend one and Doyle went from fourth to second by bend two. Doyle saw off the attentions of Lahti.

Heat 7 : Batchelor, Woodward, Bager, Wright, 67.34 (25-17)

From the gate.

Heat 8 (re-run, awarded): Lahti, Doyle, Dryml (FX), Lampart (FX) (27-20)

Lampart went down wide out on the first bend and is excluded. On the re-run the Eagles were on a maximum and looked to have it nailed until Dryml had a spectacular crash on bend two of the last lap. His bike practically went half way down the back straight on its own.

Heat 9 : Lahti, Stead, Kildemand, Bager, 67. 67 (30-23)

Stead goes from fourth to second and passed Lahti on the back straight of the final lap, only for the Eagles man to hit back on the last two bends.

Heat 10 : Andersen, Doyle, Bager, Woodward, 67.46 (35-24)

Simple stuff. A third 5-1 of the night for Andersen and Doyle.

Heat 11 : Batchelor, Kylmakorpi (tac), Dryml, Wright, 68.08 (38-29)

Batchelor is out first and there’s no catching him.

Heat 12 : Stead, Lahti, Lampart, Woodward (R), 68.58 (42-31)

Woodward overcooked it wide out on bend three lap two and his challenge for second is over. He later retires. Stead forced his way past the impressive Lahti mid-race.

Heat 13 : Andersen, Kylmakorpi, Batchelor, Bager, 67.53 (46-33)

Andersen bravely passed Kylmakorpi when there wasn’t much room wide out on bend two. Bager gave it a go against Batchelor but just didn’t have the speed.

Heat 14 : Lampart, Woodward, Kildemand, Lahti, 69.12 (50-35)

Kildemand storms round the outside on bend two as per.  Woodward inches past at the start of lap three but then on bend two Lampart cheekily nips past both of them on the inside.

Heat 15 : Andersen, Woodward, Kylmakorpi, Doyle, 68.47 (53-38)

Andersen storms to his maximum. Wasn't he supposed to be injured?
