Rossiter still grounded as Robins star on screen again
Alun Rossiter

ALUN Rossiter has banned all talk of an Elite League title charge this season, despite watching his Robins open up a six-point lead at the summit with a crushing 56-37 win over Eastbourne Eagles.

The Sky Sports cameras were at the Abbey Stadium to capture Robins most convincing win of the campaign to date, in a meeting Rossiter had predicted would be Swindon's "sternest test yet."

But the Blunsdon chief has his feet firmly on the ground - for now.

Rosco said: "These boys are full of confidence and they should be after tonight, because they have performed brilliantly.

"But there will be no talk of winning the league.

"It's early days yet and we just have to keep plugging away and stay injury free.

"If we go down to Eastbourne and win on Saturday, then maybe people will really start to think about us as contenders.

"We believe we can win down there, but they will be fired up. It should make for some great racing."
