ROBINS slipped to their second defeat in three days as they were outgunned at Poole tonight.
Alun Rossiter's men, beaten in the last heat at Eastbourne on Saturday, were 53-39 losers as the injury-ravaged Pirates clinched a comfortable victory.
In a hard-fought contest, Swindon were dogged by ill-fortune, including a fall for Troy Batchelor and a tactical ride tapes infringement by skipper Leigh Adams in a crucial heat 11.
Adams top scored with 15 points, but only Mads Korneliussen and Seb Alden (paid eight) were able to provide substantial support.
