CATCH us if you can' is the message from a confident Robins' camp towards their more-fancied Elite League rivals - after a season start that has stunned the world of speedway.
Topping the Elite League by four points after 10 meetings the Swindon outfit have already surpassed all expectations and sent out an early message of intent with regards their title aspirations.
Robins' co-promoter Terry Russell though insists their speedy start has not surprised everyone - with the Abbey Stadium side themselves plotting a second successive top two finish.
League rules changes forced the break-up of last season's runners up team and threatened their dominance but, with two away wins under their belt already, Russell insists the onus is on the chasing pack.
He said: "The first thing we needed to do was to turn the Abbey into a fortress and I think it is fair to say we have done that.
"The bonus this season has been doing so well away from home, because I don't think there will be many away wins from anyone. We are top of the league and teams have to catch us now.

"I think the pressure is on the others now. We have got the points and they have to try and catch us."
A miserable Bank Holiday weekend saw the Robins crash to an agonising final heat defeat at Eastbourne on Saturday, before being well-beaten at Poole two days later, but Russell is confident they will bounce back.
Alun Rossiter's men entertain Coventry on Thursday looking to preserve an almost two-year unbeaten home record while firing another warning signal to their rivals in their process.
Russell said: "Neither of the meetings over the weekend were ones we had targeted to win. Obviously Eastbourne was disappointing because we were so close.
"But we will be targeting Belle Vue on Monday and obviously we are confident of getting back to winning ways at home on Thursday.
"We are all very encouraged by what we have seen so far. There are a couple of things that we still have to put it right but we all believe our run can continue."
The loss of Lee Richardson & co in the close season saw Robins put the emphasis on youth, something Russell believes has stood them in good stead.
"There were concerns," said Russell. "But we wanted to build a young team that actually went out there and raced rather than just talked about it and I think we have done that.
"Whatever anyone said though our goals were clear at the start of the season. All our preparation was based on finishing in the top two.
"That has not changed now and although we know it is not going to be easy we could not have started much better."
