Swindon's Hannah Miley
HANNAH Miley surprisingly failed to make it through the heats of the 200m individual medley at the World Short Course Swimming Championships yesterday.
The Swindon-born flyer clocked 2:10.14 to finish third in her heat, not one of the 10 quickest times that would have qualified her for the final.
Miley later teamed up with Siobhan-Marie O'Connor, Aimee Willmott and Fran Halsall to finish ninth in the 4x50m freestyle final (1:40.26).
Swindon’s Jazz Carlin begins her campaign in the 800m freestyle today.
