WILL Davies put in a stunning display at the British Gas ASA National Championships in Sheffield yesterday.
The 13-year-old Swindon Dolphin smashed his personal best in the 1,500m freestyle with a time of 17 minutes 34.79 seconds - shaving 13 seconds off his previous fastest time.
Davies’ swim was also the third fastest of all the 13-year-old’s competing in at Ponds Forge.
The teenager will be back in the pool on Sunday when he goes in the 400m freestyle heats, while 12-year-old teammate Olivia Flack competes in the 100m backstroke tomorrow and then the 400m free the following day.
