A fifth life-saving defibrillator is available in Pewsey thanks to a grant from Pewsey Area Board.
The £500 grant brings a community appeal one step closer to its aim of having eight defibrillators in the village.
The first defibrillator was installed shortly before Christmas and has already been used after the ambulance service instructed it be taken out on January 2.
Pewsey Vale Running Club raised funds for the first defibrillator.
Councillor Phil Stevens said: “The level of support has been fantastic. Fishlock and Dyer installed the first one free of charge and we are well on our way to getting the sixth defibrillator. We want the defibrillators to be located all around the village so that you’re never too far from one.”
Donations can be handed in at the parish council offices or to Nigel Lihou at Pewsey Vale Butchers.
