SWINDON TOWN: SAMMY McIlroy had nothing but praise for his side after their FA Cup dreams were dashed in cruel fashion.
The Conference team were within a minute of earning the replay that they deserved at the very least before Christian Roberts banged home a match-winning penalty.
McIlroy preferred to focus on the positives despite his clear disappointment.
The former Northern Ireland manager said: "I thought my lads were magnificent and we gave a good advert for the Conference."
And as for any visible difference between the two levels, forget it.
McIlroy said: "I don't think the gulf in class was anything at all.
"We restricted Swindon to very, very few shots at our goal and I thought we had the better chances, more of the play and the only thing that let us down was the final third.
"But I'm proud of the boys as they were absolutely magnificent and sent the supporters home proud of the team."
