NORTHAMPON Town manager Chris Wilder has revealed a loan move for Swindon striker Miles Storey would certainly be of interest to the Cobblers.
Storey spent the first half the season at Portsmouth before returning to the County Ground early after being deemed surplus to requirements at Fratton Park.
Swindon are keen to send him back out on loan in order to gain more first-team football and Northampton have been mooted as a possible destination.
Cobbler boss Wilder did not rule out a possible move for Storey and admitted the 21-year-old fits the requirements that the League Two club are looking for.
Wilder told the Northampton Chronicle: “There are a lot of names that get chucked in.
“He (Storey) has gone back to Swindon from Portsmouth and they’re talking about League One and League Two clubs looking at him.
“He’s a quick forward and we’re after a quick forward but we’re talking to a few.
“There is no great rush and it has to be right financially because that is part of my job to do that, to ensure we balance the books.”
