IT WAS great to finally hand over a £12,000 ‘Red Army Fund’ cheque to Swindon Town this week.

The fund has steadily grown over the last few years and we felt it was important to give something back to the club after the generosity of the Fleetwood ticket giveaway.

Helping to keep Harry Toffolo at Swindon Town is a privilege.

We already knew he was a great player on the pitch, but it wasn’t until we met him that we realised he is a class act off the pitch as well.

He’s happy to give back to the community, and is a great example to all footballers.

Today sees the launch of our new educational website.

We’re always trying to come up with new ideas to get people interested in our football club, and we think this is a new concept that will work well.

It’s almost certain that we’re the first Trust to be taking the club so directly into schools via a website.

We want the children sending us photos, drawings and match reports - so if you’re a parent and reading this, please ask your children to get involved and send in their best efforts. We’ll publish everything we are sent, and it’s a great thing for the kids to show to their mates.

Next week will see us launch a great ticket offer for families, so please keep an eye out for that.

Finally, we’d like to thank all of the people that have joined up to the Trust recently, our membership is now around the 1,300 mark and growing every day.

We are outside the ground on most Saturday matchdays, so if you haven’t joined up - please do so, it’s only £1.

Your Club, Your Trust.
