HIGHWORTH Town will have nothing to fear when they again go in search of a place in the FA Vase fifth round away at Tunbridge Wells on Saturday, according to boss John Fisher.

The two sides shared a 1-1 draw at the Elms last weekend, with Fisher believing Highworth more than had the beating of their Southern Counties East opponents.

That result means the pair have been forced do it all again in a replay in Kent and Fisher is full of confidence that his team have what it takes to get through this time around.

“We know all about them now and they know all about us as well,” said Fisher.

“The players are confident as they know what’s ahead of them. When you play someone you don’t know, you are apprehensive, but that’s gone now.

“There’s nothing we have to be worried about. They are beatable, but they are probably thinking the same about us as well.

“They are a good side and they’re at home now, and I think they were surprised by us last time. I don’t think they thought we would be quite as good as we were.

“But if we perform like we did last week we should win. We have got nothing to fear.”

The only slight worry for Fisher last weekend was Highworth’s failure to make the most of several good chances which would have put the tie to bed.

Those wasted opportunities could come back to haunt Town but Fisher is backing his troops to find the cutting edge they were lacking and take another step closer towards a Wembley final.

“All I will say to the lads before kick-off is just go out and do the same again,” said Fisher.

“Hopefully we can take our chances this time. We will always create chances as that’s the type of side we are, we just need to make the most of them.

“With the amount of chances we had we should have done it last week and that’s what concerns me. I keep playing the game back thinking how many did we miss.

“TJ [Bohane] missed three or four good ones and normally you’d put good money on him to probably score two of them. He won’t make that mistake again and they’ll know that if he does they’ll have been very, very lucky.

“They played at Wembley when they got to the Vase final in 2012 and we were probably better than them, so you just have to think why can’t we get that far as well.”

Fisher has no injury concerns to worry about ahead of the game and is unlikely to make any changes to last weekend’s matchday squad.

He said: “Everyone is fit so we should have everyone to pick from apart from a couple of guys who are cup tied. We should have the same squad as we did last week.”
