SWINDON Supermarine have bolstered their attacking options with the signing of young striker Ollie Bailey.

Bailey, a former student with the Hampshire-based Sparsholt College Football Academy, which runs in partnership with Premier League outfit Southampton’s academy set-up, has signed for Dave Webb’s Marine after a recommendation from ex-Leeds United and Forest Green Rovers manager Dave Hockaday, who spent a number of months as an advisor at the Webb’s Wood Stadium last season.

Bailey, who also featured for Romsey Town in Division One of the Sydenhams League last season, will compete for a spot at the spearhead of Marine’s attack alongside the likes of Luke Hopper, Connor Waldon, Ryan Stanners and Bradley Gray.
