ADVER Sport’s Tom Bassam hands out his ratings from Town’s shock 2-1 win over Walsall.

Lawrence Vigouroux: 7

Made a number of good saves to keep the scores level and could do little to stop Bradshaw's well-placed leveller.

Adam El-Abd: 6 (booked)

Not suited to playing out from the right of a back three and prevented Town from building from his side.

Raphael Branco: 6 (booked)

Battled well and although Bradshaw did escape his clutches a couple of times the skipper led a generally stout line.

Jordan Turnbull: 6 (booked)

Battled well and did not do a lot wrong apart from when Bradshaw got the better of him for the goal.

Bradley Barry: 5 (booked)

Shown up by Henry more than once and was booked after a trip on the Saddlers left-back, again poor in possession.

Ben Gladwin: 6 (booked)

Set up the goal with great cross, but was otherwise wasteful and withdrawn early.

Yaser Kasim: 7

More fight from Kasim against the Saddlers, still not at his controlling best.

Louis Thompson: 8

Scored the winner and added drive to the midfield. This was a performance that showed the kind of determination and skill required from all in red to move up the league.

Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill: 5

It is hard to remember the wing-back doing anything other than chasing his man.

Nicky Ajose: 6

Ran willingling but did not get a lot of service.

Jonathan Obika: 7

Scored with a good header, but the ball did bounce off him a couple of times.

Subs

Fabien Robert: 6 (on for Gladwin, 58)

Got stuck in and is pushing Gladwin for a starting spot.

Anton Rodgers: 6 (on for Thompson, 90)

Did not touch the ball.
