SWINDON continued to show their early-season form to comfortably beat the Horspath Hammers 107-72 on Sunday.
After extensive work early in the morning following heavy rain throughout Saturday and overnight, the track held up well and produced some exciting races.
The return of Danny Harper to the Swindon line-up paid dividends as he only dropped one point all afternoon, with other key rides from Rob Hunt and James Bailey helping sew up the overall match result with four heats to go.
For the visitors, Will Jeffery had his moments and every race which included British champion Zac Payne involved lots of passes and tactical manoeuvres.
Swindon are at home again in two weeks’ time when they entertain the Exeter Aces, in what should be another thrilling encounter.
