SWINDON Town have recalled striker Jermaine Hylton from his loan spell with non-league Guiseley with immediate effect.

The 23-year-old, who joined Swindon from Redditch United in January last year, was sent out on loan at the beginning of October to gain more playing time with the National League side.

Hylton made an immediate impact, scoring on debut in a 6-1 win at home to York City, but has not featured since being replaced in the 56th minute of a 3-0 defeat away to Forest Green Rovers on October 22.

The young forward, who has struggled for game time at Swindon since his arrival, making just nine league starts, was due to stay on loan until January 1, with a view to a permanent move, according to Guiseley.

However, Hylton has returned to the County Ground and is available for selection this evening in the Checkatrade Trophy – Town host Luton Town (kick-off 7.45pm) – a competition he started in against Chelsea Development earlier this season.
