ONE TO WATCH: Christian Doidge

FOREST Green Rovers have scored 10 goals in 10 games this season as they look to adapt to life in the Football League, although that return would be a lot lower were it not for the efforts of Christian Doidge.

The 25-year-old has got four to his name already and has picked up where he left off for Rovers last term.

Doidge got 27 in 43 games in all competitions for Mark Cooper’s side as they won promotion from the National League via the play-offs, including one in the final at Wembley against Tranmere.

The former Dagenham & Redbridge striker set his stall out with two goals on the opening day this season and Rovers will need him to keep firing all year if they are to have a successful first campaign out of the non-league.

KEY BATTLE: Luke Norris v Lee Collins

AFTER a brace of goals at the weekend to take his tally to six in nine games this season, it is clear who Swindon Town’s danger man will be against Forest Green Rovers.

Mark Cooper’s men have kept just one clean sheet in 10 matches this term - that coming in the Checkatrade Trophy.

If they are to add to that, they will need to keep Norris quiet so someone like central defender Lee Collins may have to put his hand up and take on that responsibility.
