IT MIGHT be Valentine’s Day but Highworth’s players have anything but romantic thoughts on their minds.
Worthians wags hoping their partners will have a free night are set to be disappointed as the Elms side are due to visit Wokingham & Emmbrook in the Hellenic Premier.
“I haven’t had any pull-outs yet,” said Worthians boss Dave Webb.
“There will be a few that will get a rollocking, but hopefully I won’t be one of them.
“After 21 years of marriage I don’t have to send the roses and the cards any more. I’’m sure she’ll understand.”
Craig Curtis and Ben Snook are suspended but Webb is hopeful that he will otherwise have no fresh injuries.
Highworth have not played since January 28 and Webb added: “It will be nice to get back playing again, but both teams will be rusty after two weeks off.”
Chippenham will hope to bounce back from their 3-1 defeat to Bashley when they welcome Weymouth to Hardenhuish Park in the Southern Premier tonight.
The Bluebirds are yet to win in 2012 and are currently three points off a play-off spot.
With temperatures still low, a pitch inspection will be held at Hardenhuish Park at 2pm this afternoon.
