Champions Penhill crash

In the final matches of the season, it looked like Division 1 champions Penhill United were already celebrating when they lost their first game of the season 5-2 at home to SKS Blyskawica, writes STEVE ASHLEY.

Tom Kopinski fired in a double added to by Darren Kyle, Dave Jones and Miec Wojewodka to end a good season for Blyskawica. Shane Davis and Darren Smart replied for the champions.

In Division 2 goals from Gregg Higgs (2), Pete Soane, Paul Moss and John Painter helped Coleshill to a 5-3 home win against Pewsey Saints.

In the battle for runners-up spot in Division, 3 AFC Cricklade had a comprehensive 8-0 victory over rivals Mallard Lyneham. Goals from Max Lesley and Matt Richards with a doubles, Toby Clarke, Delroy Fallon, Sam Reason and Craig Shand saw Cricklade clinch second place.

Dynamo Ashton beat Autocolour 8-2 with Dave Pickering, Chris Gallavin, Dave Moore (3), Lee Hedges and Martin Curtis (2) all on the mark.

LPA Campbell James won 4-2 at Dennis Removals thanks to goals from Danny Morton and Mark Peters with a hat-trick in the Division 4 fixture.
