CYCLE SPEEDWAY: Swindon show skills without engines
Swindon Cycle Speedway club are emulating their speedway counterparts after clinching a fourth straight win of the season over Southampton at the Oasis Leisure Centre.
Swindon lead the South West Division One table and boast a 100 per cent record after their 88-80 triumph - despite missing key riders.
They called up the services of Richard Holloway, son of Reading Speedway co-promoter and Swindon legend Malcolm, who had not ridden for more than 13 years, and he scored 10 points, despite a nasty fall in his final ride.

There was excellent back-up from Shaun Rudman and James Bailey, who combined for paid 32.
