ADVER Sport's Tom Bassam hands out his ratings from Town's thumping 4-2 win at Rochdale.

Wes Foderingham

Almost stopped the penalty, made a great save to deny Bunney early on and from Rose's free-kick. 8

Nathan Thompson

Took a while to adapt back into life on the right side, with Dale exploting his shakeyness in the opening stages, but settled later on. His late own goal was unfortunate. 6

Jack Stephens

Incredible assist for Smith's goal and merited his selection in the middle of the back three with a classy performance. 8

Sam Ricketts

Mature performance in another new, if still familiar role. Shackled Vincenti with smart positioning. 7

Nathan Byrne

Fed Gladwin for his goal and was productive on the right all night. 8

Anton Rodgers

A bit ponderous on and off the ball at times, but settled into a nice passing rhythm in the second half. 6

Massimo Luongo

At the base of the midfield he was a wonderful pivot and sprung a lot of Town's attacks. 8

Ben Gladwin

A first-half hat-trick, each goal a bit different, had it not been for the penalty this could have been a 10. 9*

Harry Toffolo

Town's quitest player, but by no means a bad performance. 6

Jonathan Obika

Another good display of link play and endeavour. Should have scored in the second-half, but otherwise looks in good form. 7

Michael Smith

Good goal after missing an early opportunity. Had a physical battle with the Dale centre-backs, you would have to say he was the victor. 8

Subs

John Swift (on for Gladwin, 70)

Was bright when he came on and even had a chance to add a goal of his own.  7

AndyWilliams (on for Obika, 70)

More quiet than Swift, did not get into it

Jermaine Hylton (on for Smith, 85) (booked)

Harshly booked for a dive, otherwise liitle of note. 6
