SWINDON Town have tied down deals for three of their players.

Back-up keeper Tyrell Belford, whose contract was due to expire at the end of the season, has a signed a new two-year deal.

The other pair to put pen to paper were academy graduates Will Randall and Josh Cooke who have both signed on for a year.

Belford has been Wes Foderingham’s back-up this season. However should Town’s number one move on this summer when his contract expires, Belford is expected to contest the first-choice spot nest season.

“Ty (Belford) recently signed a new contract. We obviously think a lot of him, for us to give him a new contract,” Town boss Mark Cooper told BBC Wiltshire.

“(Belford) has another two years after this one I believe.

“We will have two goalkeepers and they will fight it out for the number one spot.”
