THE move of Swindon Town midfielder Ben Gladwin to Queen's Park Rangers is yet to be completed, despite reports in London claiming personal terms have been agreed, the Advertiser understands.

A report from westlondonsport.com claimed the Loftus Road club were ready to complete the swoop for Gladwin and fellow County Ground midfielder Massimo Luongo, both 22. Luongo's move has now been completed, but Gladwin's has yet to be rubber stamped.

The deal which will eventually see both move to west London is reportedly worth as much as £4 million, but sources close to negotiations told the Advertiser today that Gladwin's deal is yet been completed and it was unknown whether it would be so today.

Meanwhile, Town goalkeeper Wes Foderingham, 24, is also attracting the interest of Championship Reading.

A report in getreading.co.uk revealed that the Royals had identified out-of-contract Foderingham as the man to replace Adam Federici, who yesterday signed for new Premier League side Bournemouth.

Foderingham indicated that his future was likely to be elsewhere after Town's play-off defeat to Preston on Sunday.

The goalkeeper said after the defeat: “I made it clear at the start of the season that I felt I could play at a higher level and I want to try to play in the Championship.

“The club hasn’t approached me or given me a contract or said ‘we want to keep you, here’s an offer’ so I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t spoken to other clubs.

“I’ve got to protect myself now. We’ll see where we’re at. We’ll probably know in a week or so.”
