BEN Gladwin has become the second Swindon Town player today to make the move to QPR, joining teammate Massimo Luongo at Loftus Road.
The versatile 22-year-old has signed a three year deal with the west London club for an undisclosed fee.
Gladwin's move is the second part of a double-swoop from QPR which is believed to have been in the region of £3.5 million.
The move is quite the rise for the player released by Reading as a youngster. Gladwin started the 2013-14 season with Southern League Division One side Marlow.
With that in mind it is no surprise Gladwin is so thriled to be signing for a club with Premier League ambitions.
“I’m really pleased to be joining the club – and I’m really excited," Gladwin said.
“There was interest from the Premier League but for me, personally, I think this move is a little more realistic at this stage of my career. Playing is what it’s all about. Sitting on the bench is no way to improve your game."
To everyone at @Official_STFC especially the fans thanks for everything. It was a pleasure to wear the shirt. Good luck next season!

Gladwin is enthused to be working with former Swindon Town defender and current QPR boss Chris Ramsey.
“Chris Ramsey is a fantastic coach and I’m sure he’ll improve me on the training pitch. I spoke to him earlier this week and was hugely impressed by what he had to say and where he sees me fitting in," he added.
“Everyone I’ve spoken to about QPR said it would be a good move for me. I can’t wait to get going here.”
Ramsey himself is relishing the opportunity to work with the promising attacker's raw talents.
“Ben’s a fine addition for us and someone myself and Les have been monitoring for some time," said the Loftus Road chief.

“I'm happy we've persuaded him to come here because there was a lot of interest from other clubs, some in the Premier League. He just wants to come in and play and he'll get that opportunity with us.
“I'm looking forward to coaching him and working with a player I believe can only keep improving.”
