SWINDON Town have made enquiries regarding Bristol City defender Adam El-Abd.
The Advertiser understands Town made contact with local rivals City about the 30-year-old last week, but any potential deal is in its very early stages though talks are ongoing.
El-Abd joined then-League Two Bury on loan last November, where the Egypt international made 24 appearances and played a key role in helping the club win promotion.
The former Brighton man has two years left on his contract at Ashton Gate and would command a fee should he join Town.
The Shakers are one of the other sides chasing El-Abd, along with Bradford City.
