SWINDON Town have completed the emergency loan signing of Adam El-Abd from Bristol City until January.
The former Brighton defender was known to be a target for Town in the summer. Now, with an injury and defensive crisis leaving Swindon boss Mark Cooper with one available centre-half for Saturday's clash with Peterborough, El-Abd has been parachuted in to help out.
The 31-year-old becomes Town's seventh loan signing this season. Of that number only keeper Lawrence Vigouroux, and possibly Louis Thompson could play this weekend, such is the state of affairs with injury and suspension at the County Ground
