FROM next season Swindon Town will be playing in the English Football League One, after the Football League announced a re-branding.
The three divisions below the top tier will now be known as the English Football League or EFL.
The individual divisions will be retaining the three existing divisional titles, The Championship, League One and League Two.
The Football League’s Chief Executive, Shaun Harvey said: "The new EFL name rightly emphasises the central role our clubs play at the heart of English professional football."
