SWINDON Town Ladies are hoping to return to action in the FA Women’s Premier League for the first time in more than three months tomorrow when they entertain table toppers Larkhall Athletic.

Following last weekend’s call-off against Maidenhead United, Steve Robertson’s side are now looking play in South West Division One for the first time since November 1.

Town have been out of action in the competition due to a number of postponements as well as their commitments both in the Women’s FA Cup and FA Women’s Premier League Cup.

They remain unbeaten in the league this season, with five wins from their seven games, but their lengthy hiatus has seen them fall down to sixth in the table.

By contrast, Larkhall have played 12 league games and are well clear at the head of the table, sitting 14 points ahead of Town.

The two sides have met twice already this season in cup competitions, with Town taking the honours on both occasions, and will do battle for a third time at Shrivenham’s Barrington Park (kick-off noon).

Robertson said: “Hopefully we can get a game played this weekend and what a game to come back to.

“Although we have beaten them twice in cups this season, they are not top of the league for nothing.

“We know that we are in for a tough afternoon but these are the games that we need to get something from if we want to be challenging at the end of the season.”

Town will still be without Abby Picton but they otherwise have a full squad to select from.

SQUAD: Robyn Levett, , Alice Smith, Sam Quinn, Serena Smith, Ellie Maynard, Alison Witts, Chyna Collings, Meg Vella, Michelle Rich, Beth Westlake, Sarah Uzzell, Alex Hurst, Chenise Austin, Sally Butterfield and Meg Attenborough.
