ADVER Sport’s Dan Barnes hands out his player ratings from Swindon Town’s 3-0 win over Shrewsbury Town this afternoon.

Will Henry – 8

An excellent afternoon for the 17-year-old keeper, who didn’t put a foot wrong and made a sublime vital save when one-on-one with Larnell Cole.

Nathan Thompson – 7

Was full of energy at right-back, constantly hassling opposition players, and his eagerness to press high up the pitch led to him winning a penalty late in the first half.

Jamie Sendles-White – 7

An impressive and assured display from the tall defender, summing up his short time at Swindon.

Jordan Turnbull – 7

Not involved as much as Sendles-White but was nonetheless solid in what he was forced to do.

James Brophy – 8

Despite playing at full-back, rather than wing-back, the Town man showed a stirring willingness to drive forward. Excellent work to tee up Jordan Young’s late strike.

Yaser Kasim – 6

Neat and tidy at the base of the Town midfield but the slow pace of the game meant that he was never really required to overexert himself. Hit the bar with a superb free-kick.

Anton Rodgers – 6

Showed some imagination with his passing but his through balls didn’t always come off.

Michael Doughty – 6

A quiet day at the office for the QPR loanee when compared to the high standards he’s set during his time at the County Ground.

Ellis Iandolo – 6

Showed some moments of good link-up play and was unfortunate not to score – a youngster with potential.

Nicky Ajose – 8

Dropped deep often to receive the ball but as always, made no mistake when it counted. A fine end to a superb season for the striker.

Jonathan Obika – 6

His high pressing led to Town’s penalty but never really threatened to score himself.

Substitutes

Jordan Young (on for Iandolo, 78’) – 7

A first senior goal for the talented midfielder at the tender age of 16 – he won’t forget this Sunday afternoon in a hurry.

Jake Evans (on for Sendles-White, 78’) – 6

Handed his professional debut and enjoyed a nice cameo at right-back.
