World Youth Cup final beckons' for Town girls
SWINDON Town FITC U14 girls have reached the B Final of the Gothia Cup in Sweden.
The tournament which is known as the World Youth Cup has been running all week with a host of Town teams across a variety of age groups taking part.
The U14 girls will now meet Jarvenpaan Palloseura in tomorrow morning’s final after defeat Gimonas Umea 4-0 in the semi-final this afternoon thanks to goals from Flo Ashton, Lois Beer, Izzy Cook and Millie Bailey.
The girls booked their place in the last four earlier in the day when they defeat Umea Sodra 3-0 courtesy of a strike from Anderson and a brace from Cook.
