TEENAGE winger Ellis Hudson has signed a two-year professional contract with Bradford City.

The 17-year-old, whose deal includes the option of a third year, made his senior debut in an EFL Trophy game against Stoke’s development side.

  • BURY defender Nathan Cameron could be facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering a recurrence of a knee injury.

Cameron, who recently signed a two-year contract extension at Gigg Lane, had surgery on cartilage damage last week and could be out for at least six months.

  • COVENTRY Telegraph have become the latest local newspaper to be banned from a football club.

Coventry City are not allowing the Telegraph reporters to speak to manager Tony Mowbray or any players after a front page petition calling for the owners Sisu to sell their interest in the club.

  • BRISTOL Rovers goalkeeper Will Puddy has joined National League side Braintree Town.

Puddy joins Braintree on a one-month loan deal after finding himself behind loan keeper Kelle Roos and Steve Mildenhall in the pecking order at Rovers.

  • SHEFFIELD United have signed free agent Reece Brown on a short-term deal until January.

The 24-year-old defender is available for Saturday's Sky Bet League One game against leaders Scunthorpe.

  • CHARLTON Athletic chief executive Katrien Meire has put herself forward to be League One's representative on the English Football League board.

A vacancy is opening at the end of the month with Andy Ambler stepping down at Millwall to take on a new role at the FA, with Walsall's Stefan Gamble the other candidate.

However, while Gamble made an impassioned case to join the board, Meire failed to turn up to the latest meeting to make her case.

The other 22 clubs will vote on who to appoint and voting papers were set to go out yesterday – with choices made by next week.
