So 49 points and better goal difference would have saved us and 50 points was guaranteed safety. What a costly season this has been and just two wins from safety surely Power should have realized it was better to stay in the Division rather than try and get back promoted of which I think we have no chance under the present regime. Absolute clear out needed top to bottom Power OUT.
Score: 3
Enotnom Replying mikek 2:18pm Sun 30 Apr 17
The only logical interpretation of all the inaction is that it suits Power to have his Football Club toy in League Two. The behaviour is only consistent with this outcome. IE no change of plan to as you say i.e. to get another 6 points out of 46 games. Laughable! . There must be some sordid economics that makes sense for this outcome. Lower overhead with still scope to turn a wheeler dealer profit on a lucky-dip freeby non-league player. It will be interesting to see if flirting with Non League is also no bother to him. He may think player-flipping in the national league can still work just as well.

Good points and totally agree that Power probably cares less what league were in as he is in it for the money which in a nutshell is selling players. What a bleak future under this regime.

I've said the same. It almost appears that relegation was actually in Powers master plan. Maybe the lower leagues suit his business plan better. He can get players in for next to nothing and sell them on. So long as he makes a bob or two he's happy.

We lost 3-0 to a team who had nothing to play for and I'm quite pleased about that - pleased that there were no false dawns, that no one can say we have got some good players or that Lukey can pretend any more that he can hack it as a manager. We have been sh*te all season and we were sh*te today. So Mr Power you will need to get your finger out quick and appoint an experienced manager, forget tippy tappy football and get players in who can give us a chance next season. If you are still in any doubt look at the paltry total of goals we scored, the massive number we let in and our position in the league table. Also Mr Power your business expertise stinks, communication with your customers is of paramount importance you don't do it and therefor customers (supporters) make their own minds up about the scraps of info they do receive. So Mr Power sort it quick or go - quicker

We can hope that will signal the end of these deadly incompetent two, well, we can but wish. Power Williams and Sherwood all out and take your motley crew with you. Total crock of 5h1te.

I know it was end of season game but if the idea was to let out young players get a feel for league football and if Powers plan is to go with youth next season which I think he is them results like this will be a regular weekly occurrence. I do know if power has any plan to bring experience in otherwise he would have done it this season to save us being relegated I get a feeling today was a taster of our team for next season with Rodgers as our main man I just gave this feeling this is how he will go . He doesn't want to spend the money and it will be cheap options Fain with loans coming in again . Don't believe he will change his philosophy which will mean a problem appointing a manager .
