DEFENDER Jamie Sendles-White is one of four players heading for the exit door at Swindon Town after tweeting his goodbyes to the club and supporters this afternoon.

The former QPR man was ruled out for the rest of the season after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament and damaging other parts of his left knee in a home match against Bury last September.

The 23-year-old, who joined Town as a free agent after being released by Scottish outfit Hamilton Academical last summer, subsequently underwent a series of operations as he continued to rehabilitate from the injury.

The Northern Ireland U21 international had spoken of his desire to prove himself again this summer but it now appears as though his County Ground career is at an end.

Later, Town revealed that fellow defenders Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill and Bradley Barry, plus Northern Ireland forward Jordan Stewart were also leaving the club, while the one-year option on youngster Ellis Iandolo was being activated.

A retained list of Town players is expected in the next few days, which is likely to confirm whether skipper Nathan Thompson, forward Jonathan Obika, midfielder Yaser Kasim and defender Raphael Branco have any future in Wiltshire.

In a message posted on his Twitter account this afternoon, Sendles-White said: "I would like to wish Swindon Town all the best for the future and I hope the club bounce back next season.

"I would like to say a massive thank you to Luke Williams, Ross Embleton and the players for everything they have done for me during my time at the club.

"I'm gutted it has ended this way and I wish I could have been able to help the team out more this season.

"Finally, I'd also like to say a huge thank you to the fans who have been so supportive throughout my time at the club and also throughout my time being injured.

"I have experienced some really dark times and you've helped me through them. Time to get myself fit.''
