Adver Sport assess the performances of Swindon Town's players in tonight's narrow 1-0 defeat at Notts County in League Two.
Lawrence Vigouroux – 8
A solid outing, not much wrong with his performance. Made one outstanding save and could do little about the penalty.
Ben Purkiss – 6
Former Port Vale man struggled to get forward as he would have liked, but was solid enough at the back.
Olly Lancashire – 5.5
Another penalty given away by the skipper in what was a battling performance.
Dion Conroy – 7.5
The defender impressed again. His eye for a pass at the back is a real attribute to his game.
Chris Hussey – 7
Again one of Swindon’s main offensive outlets and whipped in a few dangerous balls.
Paul Mullin – 7
Town’s joint top scorer didn’t quite make the impact he has in previous games. Subbed.
Timi Elsnik – 7
Perhaps his best performance so far, the youngster looked good on the ball.
Matty Taylor – 6
A much-needed calm head in the heart of midfield, but faded in the second half. Subbed.
Kaiyne Woolery – 6
The summer arrival really struggled with the physical nature of the game at Meadow Lane. Subbed.
Luke Norris – 7
Another spirited performance from Norris but it just didn’t happen for him. Booked.
Keshi Anderson – 6.5
Like Woolery, the physical aspect proved an obstacle but this didn’t stop him producing a hard-working display.
Substitutes
Amine Linganzi (For Taylor, 83) – 6
Not much the midfielder could do about the game’s outcome in the time he was on the pitch.
Harry Smith (For Mullin, 63) – 6
The striker made his physical presence felt and had a great chance to open his account.
Kellan Gordan (For Woolery, HT) – 6.5
Started brightly and added some much needed width to Town’s play.
Unused subs: Reice Charles-Cook, Chris Robertson, James Brophy and Ellis Iandolo
